One may , say that the Romanian food is based on pork. It may be true, we love to eat pork , prepared in many ways, but that’s not all! Chicken, fish, beef and mutton are always in the menu, in most, if not all Romanian hosues.

You must know that at countryside people still use clay vessels and cast-iron kettle for cooking. Food is prepared this way and preserved in an unique manner, so that the taste stays unchanged for months. With vegetables and verdures ,100% non-fertilized, planted on soils and lands which have never been touched the the last “researches” of genetics.Fresh, in a jar, salty or spicy, some may call this “old fashioned”, maybe unproductive, yet, it is definitely tasty,natural and colourful .
